When I look out the window,
The golden sun sets low,
So bright, on its own
But in the sky, all alone.
This view is unlimited
The other side, unexplored
My eyes look across the span
Looking as far as they can.
The horizon, far away
Invites my curious soul to stray
To see what’s behind
But, we are blind.
The sky fills, the sun sinks
Leaving it darker with every blink
Yellow, orange, vermilion, crimson,
The sun is now hidden.
The sky is dark blue
From east, darkness grew.
Stars enter the terrain
Shining, high and vain.
The moon is not alone,
Its light has grown.
The stars accompany,
Providing light, abundantly.
Now the night has conquered the sky,
Slowly, the moon rises high,
Without the night, it can’t shine,
Or reveal the stars so fine.
